Jim Alexander
|
Jeff Alexander became involved in electrical and pool construction in the 1940s. He continuously worked in construction throughout the 50s and 60s. In 1968, Jim Alexander began working with his father. The father and son team built pools with their own hands, unlike most builders who rely on sub-contractors.
The Alexanders were the first company in Imperial Valley, California to own and operate a gunite machine. They traveled between San Diego and Yuma, AZ guniting for several other companies. The family operation managed to hold a 68% market share while guniting for several other builders. In 1978 alone, out of 49 pools built by five different builders, Jeff and Jim built 46. "We only lost three" Jim proudly boasts.
Jeff's grandson Jeffrey joined the family operation on a part-time basis in 1983. Jeffrey is now working full time as a third generation pool-builder.
Our satisfaction rate jumped to over 97% and complaints and call backs were almost non-existant. Concrete pools require many Sub-Contractors and with them brings numerous scheduling problems into the project. This often translates out to long delays waiting for your pool to be completed. With our New Space Age ceramic material we have been able to overcome the blistering and cobalting problems that the fiberglass pools are known for. Most manufacturers offer little or no warranty against this ugly problem. Our Space Age Ceramic Composite pools come with a 7-year warranty on the surface and a Lifetime warranty is on the structure.
